On March 21st, in honour of World Forestry Day, MEIL and the SR Foundation launched a significant tree plantation drive to commemorate the International Day of Forests. The inaugural phase of this mission has successfully commenced, with efforts concentrated on three dynamic sites: Bhutpur, Moinabad, and Maheswaram. To date, over 80,000 trees have been planted—45,000 in Bhutpur and Moinabad, Telangana, and 35,000 in Maheswaram, Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to plant 1 million trees citywide within the next 10-12 months, reflecting a commitment to creating a legacy of abundant forests and natural beauty. This endeavour is set to contribute to a greener and more sustainable world for future generations.
